About the Journal

SARGA Journal of Architecture and Urbanism.

Journal of interdisciplinary studies in Architecture and Urbanism requires minimal justification. At a time when architecture and urban planning are undergoing substantial changes with the corresponding reconversion of the nature of professional and research activity, the proliferation of academic publications, sometimes with traditional formats and approaches, is somewhat paradoxical.

SARGA adopts a double perspective. In the first place, a global vision, that is, international. This implies assuming that today a large part of the contributions of interest are published in Indonesian and English. Second, an interdisciplinary, transversal approach, with integrating visions, starting from the field of architecture, but opening up to other disciplines, in accordance with the changing limits and situations that characterize the field of architecture and urban studies today. Which leads to the acceptance of contributions from nearby disciplines, from the social sciences to technical visions, with the logical condition of the scientific quality of the contributions, previously evaluated by a rigorous arbitration system. The advice of the Scientific Council of the journal guarantees, in any case, rigor and attention to the most innovative approaches and methodologies.
